Rush Information
Interested in joining? The rush period starts every fall and occurs during September and October, followed by the Probationary period during November through February. To get started, look for publications for information meetings or contact the Fraternal Education Officer, Mike O'Hearn.
Requirements to Join
- Be a male. Women of music should contact Sigma Alpha Iota, Beta Eta chapter.
- Love music.
- Have a (cumulative) GPA above 2.0, as required by university policy to join an RSO.
- Be able to pay approximately $190 in initiation fees and initial dues.
- Be available for required probationary member events such as weekly meetings and activities.
Note: You do not have to be a music major to be eligible!
Phi Mu Alpha is NOT an exclusive or elitist club. It is for those men who enjoy music, have a good heart, and seek to enrich their lives.
